The Interdisciplinary Lab on Climate Change of the University of the Balearic Islands is a hub of researchers from many  different disciplines that work on climate change: physics, biology, engineering, chemistry, economy, law, mathematics and computing, education and philosophy.

The main aims of the LINCC are:

  • To become a center of reference on climate change issues at the regional level
  • To facilitate the transfer of scientific knowldege on climate change to public institutions, private companies, NGOs and the general public, and to facilitate decision-making on the matter
  • To conduct interdisciplinary research on climate change
  • To foster the teaching of climate change-related topics through an interdisciplinary approach
