Clean energy for EU islands

Workshops

Discover a world of clean energy and sustainability and broaden your knowledge of crucial challenges and their solutions with our island-focused workshops! All workshops are hosted by the Clean energy for EU islands secretariat as part of the ongoing series of capacity-building initiatives to support the selected 30 for 2030 islands and island groups in their clean energy transition. The workshops are in-person events taking places on different EU islands and are open to the public. If you are interested in attending any of them, please register and join us in our effort to make a sustainable future for island communities a reality!

The next workshop will take place in Lesvos (Greece), on 18-19 September, 2024  “Financing mechanisms for islands’ decarbonisation projects with a focus on shared ownership schemes”.

The last workshop of 2024 "Reducing the emissions related to water supply and distribution” will take place on the island of La Palma (Spain), on 24-25 October 2024.
