Overview of grid
In Sweden, the access of all electricity generating plants (RES or not) is subject to the general provisions laid down in the Electricity Act. The grid operator shall hold a license, which obliges them to connect electricity generating plants and installations to the grid, to transfer electricity and to expand the grid. Grid access is technology-neutral; RES is not given priority.
