Overview
Cyprus promotes the implementation of energy efficiency through various policies. A reduced VAT is applied to all energy efficiency interventions, while thermal insulation is supported through a grant under the Support Scheme for RES and Energy Efficiency 2024-2025 and the Energy Efficiency- Upgrading of Domestic Buildings 2024. Apart from that, Small and Medium Enterprises can cover the cost of their energy audits through the Support Scheme Energy Audits in Small- Medium Enterprises.
