The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub annual conference will take place on 17 and 18 March 2026 in Athens, Greece. Hosted by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Energy, in collaboration with the City of Athens and EPAH, and supported by the local EPAH antenna INZEB, this flagship event will bring Europe’s leading voices together to drive momentum in the fight against energy poverty.This high-level conference will gather policymakers, local governments, practitioners and experts committed to addressing energy poverty as a growing structural challenge in Europe.
After three years of implementation, the project will come to an end in November 2025.

This year’s forum, ‘Towards a Citizens Energy Package: Empowering citizens for a just energy transition’, takes place in the context of the next Commission mandate, following the European elections earlier this year. It will kickstart work on the Commission’s Citizens Energy Package, which will increase citizen participation in the energy transition and strengthen the social dimension of the Energy Union.It will be live web-streamed, with the possibility for the online audience to engage.
