The Agricultural Cooperative Cres, since its foundation on November 25, 1945, has been developing activities that were viewed in the perspective of the development of the entire island of Cres, and not just cooperatives as such. Through its long history, the Agricultural Cooperative Cres has been engaged in various branches of agriculture. Today, Agricultural Cooperative Cres is the main economic entity in agricultural production on the island, and the main activities of the Cooperative are the cultivation of sheep and the production of olive oil.
