The event will cover technologies, programs and incentives for the energy transition in Sicily and its smaller islands (isole minori). Discussions will focus particularly on the islands of Salina, Favignana and Pantelleria, all of which work with the Clean Energy for EU Islands Secretariat to develop a transition path towards energy autonomy and sustainability. New solutions in the field of electric mobility, biogas purification and solar-driven air conditioning technologies will be presented, with a discussion about critical issues posed by these new systems as well as their impact on energy grids. Experts from Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) and Italian Energy Services Manager GSE will give an update on procedural changes in the field of tax reductions and incentives for energy efficiency and restructuring in buildings. The event will further be an opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with the participants.
The event is part of the ECOMED Conference.
