The Clean energy for EU islands secretariat has already published three Calls for Postcards. The first call, was published in October 2021 while there have been two calls in 2022. For each call, the secretariat has received beautiful photographs from islands all over Europe and a great variety of people who submitted their work. Each submission reflected the uniqueness of the European islands.
After the winners were carefully selected, they have been notified and their pictures were printed as postcards. During the Clean energy for EU islands forum 2022 in Rhodes, the postcards were distributed among the visitors to give them a chance to write a few lines as a greeting to their loved ones, friends, companies, and organisations.
