Overview
There are several energy-efficiency measures in France, especially aimed at buildings’ renovation and industry increased energy efficiency. These are mainly voluntary schemes, which require applicants to submit forms to relevant authorities. National targets for energy efficiency from NECP According to the French NECP, the national targets for energy efficiency are the following: • Reduction in final energy consumption of 7% by 2023 (compared with 2012), of 20% by 2030 and of 50% by 2050 • Reduction in the consumption of primary energy from fossil fuels of 40% by 2030 (compared to 2012)
