Energy efficiency measure (MaPrimeRénov’)

Description of support scheme

Launched on January 1, 2020, the MaPrimeRénov' subsidy is aimed at supporting single-family home or apartment in collective housing in increasing energy efficiency of their buildings.

Amount

The amount of the bonus is fixed. It is calculated according to the household's income and the ecological gain allowed by the work. The resource ceilings have been categorized into 4 profiles/colors according to different income levels (from the most modest households to the most affluent), with different levels based on the number of people in the household (from one to five people):
• MaPrimeRénov' Bleu: from 14,879 to 34,993 euros, and 4,412 euros per additional household member
• MaPrimeRénov' Jaune: from 19,074 to 44,860 euros, and 5,651 euros per additional household member
• MaPrimeRénov' Violet: from 29,148 to 69,081 euros, and 8,744 euros per additional household member
• MaPrimeRénov' Rose: from 29,148 to 69,081 euros, and 8,744 euros per additional household member
• A fifth MaPrimeRénov'Copropriété profile has been established to set MaPrimeRénov' rates when the work is carried out by co-owners.

Addressees

The property must be occupied as a primary residence. In the case of condominiums, the scheme can also finance renovation work on common areas.

Procedure

The work that has been the subject of estimates and begun since 1 October 2020 are eligible for the new terms of assistance, the application files for assistance MaPrimeRénov' can be filed online from 11 January 2021. In this case, it is necessary to check the eligibility of the work planned and the amount of aid claimed according the claimant’s profile.

Competent authority

The competent authority is the ANAH (Agence nationale de l’habitat).
