Energy efficiency measure (research grant for resource and energy efficient construction and housing)

Abbreviated form of legal source(s)

Ordinance 2008:761

Description of support scheme

Swedish Energy Agency and E2B2 (a research program on energy-efficient construction and housing) are currently organising their 6th call for R&D projects on the development of resource and energy efficient construction and housing. The current call is open until mid-September 2021, and a total of SEK 65 million (approx. EUR 6,4 million) is allocated for the call. The projects can begin in December 2021 and have to be completed by December 2024.
The successful projects should contribute to the programme’s outcome goals, such as improving energy and resource efficient technology availability in the market, providing practical decision-making materials or improving decision makers’ competencies when it comes to the programme topic, and advancing Sweden’s pioneer position in energy and resource-efficient built environment. The call covers two sub areas: R&D projects within the whole programme area (including interdisciplinarity), and smaller renovation projects.
Ordinance 2008:761 determines the conditions for applying for the support, and sets out the rights and responsibilities for the Swedish Energy Agency.
