Grid connection permit process

  2. Description of the process

    Production units may be connected to the grid only after an inspection of the plant is carried out by an institution accredited by DGEG. After the compliance with the rules has been attested and the developer has concluded a contract for the acquisition and sale of the energy produced with the Retailer of Last Resort, then a certificate of exploitation is granted and the plant is connected to the grid (art. 20-B DL 76/2019).
