Authorisation to Construct a Generating Station

  2. Description of the process

CRU issues the Authorisation to Construct or Reconstruct a Generating Station for onshore wind and ground-mounted PV. A single application for Authorisation to Construct or Reconstruct a Generating Station and the Licence to Generate Electricity is also possible.
Firstly, a pre-application meeting with CRU for information purposes is advisable. After the application submission CRU monitors its completeness. The application includes specific documents such as the application form, the proof that application fee was paid, financial information, site location, planning information, connection agreement, construction timeline and technical information (Appendix I Authorisation to Construct a Generating Station). If complete, CRU issues the license.
