Exemplary role of public authorities (Plan de rénovation énergétique des bâtiments)

  1. Summary

    As part of the Plan for energy renovation of public buildings (Plan de rénovation énergétique des bâtiments), whose figures are contained in the Multiannual Energy Planning (PPE) will support public authorities with following figures:
    • For the public sector, €1.8 billion will be devoted to improving the energy performance of State buildings, particularly administrative buildings.
    • Local authorities will have access to €3 billion via the Grand Investment Plan (Grand Plan d'investissement), including €2.5 billion in loans and advances from the Caisse des Dépôts, for the renovation of their buildings (schools, crèches, hospitals, etc.) and €500 million via the DSIL (local investment support grant).
