Priority to renewable energy
Non-discrimination rule
The grid operator is obligated to grant connection to the grid according to non-discriminatory criteria (Art 20 Act 588/2013). Electricity generated from renewable sources is not given priority.
Curtailment
The grid operator shall provide its services only within the limits of the transmission capacity of the grid (Art 21 Act 588/2013). Apart from this principle, grid stability is not regulated by law.
