ACIF-CCIM is a private and non-profit multisectoral business association and also the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madeira, founded in 1836.

It has about 800 members mostly SME. ACIF provides a wide range of services, including information/advisory; training; company missions; fairs; conferences; among others. Over the years, several projects for companies were developed, with particular emphasis on pioneering initiatives in the tourism sector, namely in the field of energy efficiency, training-consulting, e-commerce, APP, etc., co-financed by several funds like EEA Grants, CIP, Interreg MAC, Atlantic, COSME, H2020 and Structural Funds. ACIF has represented  in Madeira the Euro Info Center (1989 -2007) and represents since 2008 the Enterprise Europe Network. ACIF-CCIM has also represented in Madeira the Europe Direct network.

Currently we are partners in 2 H2020 projects in the energy field, namely SMILE (SMart IsLand Energy systems) and INSULAE (Maximizing the impact of innovative energy approaches in the EU islands), being very committed to increasing the use of renewable energy in Madeira.
