The Workshop on TEN-T Islands and Outermost Regions will take place on 15-16 April 2025 at the Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain. This event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss strategic priorities for islands and outermost regions within the TEN-T framework.
The programme will be structured as follows:
· 15 April – Full-day workshop, featuring discussions on:
o Ports as energy hubs – Promoting energy autonomy for islands and outermost regions.
o Decarbonising maritime transport – Best practices and financing schemes.
o Building resilience – Climate adaptation, cybersecurity, and sustainable supply chains.
· 16 April – Field visit (until noon) to explore practical applications and on-the-ground solutions related to the workshop themes.
The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and remote participation. Stakeholders are invited to contribute proposals and engage in shaping discussions on these critical topics.
