Chios is a Greek island, located northeast in the Aegean Sea. The first step towards the development of Chios’ CETA has been the identification of stakeholders on the island followed by the identification of the legal framework and restrictions for the islands’ clean energy transition at a local, national and EU level.

After many months working closely with European island stakeholders, the final reports from the first round of Technical Assistance (carried out during 2021 and beginning of 2022) are now available.
