The first forum of Phase II of the Clean energy for EU islands secretariat will present practical steps towards the decarbonisation of EU islands and showcase ongoing and completed clean energy projects on islands.
The two-day event will act as a knowledge hub for the clean energy transition of European islands. It will provide participants with a platform to gain visibility for their initiatives, to get technical assistance for designing, preparing, and implementing their decarbonisation plans and to get assistance on project funding.
Look forward to a variety of formats such as high-level political panel discussions, workshops, an exhibition area, and networking/matchmaking opportunities. Moreover, the results of the secretariat’s first call for technical assistance will be announced during the event.
The forum will be an opportunity to meet representatives from EU islands, academic institutions, private sector stakeholders and high-level EU-representatives and to get to know about the objectives of Phase II of the Clean energy for EU islands initiative, including the Explore, Shape and Act approach.
