Overview
The Netherlands relies on different support schemes and voluntary schemes when it comes to improving energy efficiency. In doing so, it both targets the private and the public sector. The Dutch NECP target for energy efficiency by 2030 is 32.5 % based on the expected primary energy consumption. In terms of final energy consumption, expected final energy consumption by 2030 will be 1,837 petajoules.
