Clean Energy Transition Agenda: Chios

Learn more about the clean energy transition vision and planning on the island of Chios, Greece.

Chios is a Greek island, located northeast in the Aegean Sea. The first step towards the development of Chios’ CETA has been the identification of stakeholders on the island followed by the identification of the legal framework and restrictions for the islands’ clean energy transition at a local, national and EU level.

Chios applied and managed to secure a second round of technical assistance from the secretariat, on a project related to sustainable desalination, thus putting the CETA into immediate action!
