Description of support scheme
The biofuel quota scheme obliges fuel suppliers to ensure that a defined quota (percentage) of their total annual fuel supply consist of biofuels (art. 4 IenW/BSK-2018/123399).
Addressees
Fuel suppliers who import or produce more than 500.000 liter of petrol, gas or diesel annually
Procedure
The Dutch Emissions Authority monitors the quote fulfillment. Those who are obligated to follow the quote must be registered and have an account with the Authority in order to register all traded biofuel.
