Description of support scheme

The ‘Investeringssubsidie Duurzame Energie’ (ISDE) offers a subsidy to consumers and small businesses to purchase solar thermal collects or heat pumps.

Amount

The amount of subsidy awarded is dependent on what technologies will be used. The ISDE budget for 2021 is 124 million euros. RVO offers an online tool to calculate the subsidy which can be found here: https://infographics.rvo.nl/isde-rekentool/ .

Procedure

Those who want to apply for this subsidy must do so online via the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. Both the application for private persons and for businesses can be found on the RVO website. To apply, documents supporting the application must be sent with the application. These include proof of payment, as well as proof of the date of installation and specifics of the insulation or technology used.

The solar thermal systems must have a total surface no larger than 200 m2 (art. 4.5.2. par. 2b2 WJZ / 13125043).
