RES-E building obligations (Building Regulations 2019)

    All new buildings occupied after 31 December 2020 should be Nearly Zero Emissions Buildings- NZEB (S.I. No.292/2019). For non-domestic buildings/ domestic buildings, 20% of primary energy use should be provided by RES (Conservation of Fuel and Energy Dwellings- Building Regulations 2019). Technical specifications are laid down in the Conservation of Fuel and Energy Dwellings- Building Regulations 2019.
