Description of support scheme
A low-interest loan (maturity of up to 10 years at a floating or fixed rate) will be given from the GCDLF to local administration authorities (municipalities and/ regional administration) for replacing existing street lighting facilities with more efficient ones. It is possible for each interested local administration authority to apply for either the whole or part of the project budget.
Amount
The amount depends on the loan requested by the local administration authority.

Procedure
The local administration authority requests the loan from the Greek Consignment Deposits and Loans Fund. If successful, the authority issues a public tender, where interested parties submit their offer (www.promitheus.gov.gr ). Every offer is assessed on pre-defined technical and financial criteria. The successful bidder will realise the project and be paid in tranches.
