Description of support scheme
Since March 2021, the German government subsidises the purchase of electric cargo bikes.
Amount
25 % of the costs
Addressees
Companies, foundations, corporations (public and private), associations, freelancers and municipalities. The recipient of the grant is the applicant.
Procedure
The application is done through the BAFA. The application must be made before the commission to the producer. Only after receiving the confirmation of support, the cargo bike can be commissioned and acquired.
Competent authority
The BAFA processes the applications.
