Summary
Innovative R&D projects are subsidized through the Research Innovation Programme. The projects must be thematically specific and timebound. The publication of the German government outlines the thematic fields that are eligible for this subsidy (Applied non-nuclear research funding): energy production, system integration, system overlapping research projects for the energy transition, research for nuclear safety.
Applicants shall submit their application through a project partner (eligible project partners are named in the publications). The project outline is reviewed by the Federal Ministry. The project partner and the Federal Ministry provide guidance in the implementation phase and check the implementation. The results will also be evaluated. -
