Summary

Min. Decree 121/2020 stipulates the minimum energy efficiency requirements for new or renovated buildings. The minimum percentage of RES H&C in primary energy consumption is defined at 25% (9% for hotels).
Min. Decree 121/2020 defines the characteristics of Nearly Zero Emissions Buildings (NZEB) According to that, RES H&C should cover at least 25% of primary energy consumption.
In addition, all new buildings must be Nearly Zero Emissions Buildings (NZEB) by 31 December 2020 (art.5a Law No.142(I) 2006).
