Summary

Currently, there are no national promotions or open calls for supporting alternative fuels infrastructure. However, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (FZOEU) publishes an open call for direct subsidies for the development of the infrastructure for alternative fuels on a yearly basis.
The open call from the FZOEU is usually for supporting electrical or hydrogen charging stations, covers a certain percentage of approved costs with a maximum absolute amount, and lasts until all funds are allocated or until the end of the calendar year.

Addressees

In the last open call of the FZOEU (2020), beneficiaries were:
• Units of local and regional self-government,
• State institutions and other budget users, and extra-budgetary users;
• Businesses;
• Physical persons (craftsmen and sole traders);
• Non-governmental organisations (except citizens’ associations and co-operatives)
