Description of support scheme

Through the national Operational Programme ‘Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020’, the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure opened a call for co-financing the purchase of public transportation buses with low CO2 emissions.
Acceptable are diesel vehicles satisfying the EURO 6 emission standard, but also vehicles using electric energy (EVs), hydrogen, biofuels, LPG, etc.
The only acceptable applicants are the 9 public transportation companies from Croatia.

Amount

The entire call is worth 364,800.000.00 HRK (ca.46,651,670.00 EUR), while the minimum per applicant is 5,000,000.00 HRK (ca.666,820.00 EUR) and the maximum per applicant is 122,800,000.00 HRK (ca.16,377,260.00 EUR).
Up to 85% of the approved costs of the project can be financed.

Procedure

An application is made by an authorised person of a pre-authorised applicant through the e-fondovi (e-funds) system electronically. The list of necessary documentation and instructions for applicants are available on the webpage of the loan.
