This technical report has been prepared to present the design assumptions and technical solution for an investment project involving a Photovoltaic (PV) Carport installation on Korčula Island. The project considered in this report is referred to as Korčula Parking Lot 2. It is located near the town of Korčula, Croatia. This is a Carport PV power plant, with a total peak power of 203.1 kWp. The PV modules are installed on structures with an inclination of 10° on the Carport plant, and oriented 13° from south. The project includes string inverters and will be connected to the MV grid by means of LV/MV transformers.
In addition to the technical assessment, this report includes complementary analyses to evaluate the economic performance of the proposed PV carport installation. These analyses cover the reconstruction of hourly Croatian electricity market prices based on CROPEX Day‑Ahead Market (DAM) data, the estimation of annual revenues from PV generation, and sensitivity tests assessing the impact of market variability. The modelling also explores the potential added value of integrating battery storage under different operational strategies. Collectively, these elements provide a data‑driven basis for understanding the project’s economic viability under current market conditions.
