Building on previous forums, the event focused on accelerating the implementation of clean energy transitions on EU islands. The programme combined high-level discussions with interactive sessions addressing key topics such as transition agendas, institutional support and financing opportunities.

Participants explored concrete implementation measures, including the development and monitoring of island transition pathways, and engaged with supporting organisations providing expertise and access to EU-wide networks. A technical fair also offered insights into available technologies and solutions for decarbonisation.

The forum reinforced the importance of cooperation, practical tools and knowledge exchange in enabling islands to lead Europe’s transition towards climate neutrality.
