Curtailment
Dispatch-down can be either reduction of generation for both local network and broader system reasons, e.g., if the dispatch happens in specific wind parks (defined as constraints) or reduction in non-synchronous generation due to other system-wide reasons, regionwide or country-wide dispatch down (defined as curtailment). No curtailment payments are applicable (SEM-13-010). On the contrary, remuneration is applicable for constraints, i.e., localised dispatch down (SEM-11-062). The level of remuneration is defined in ch.4 of Trading and Settlement Code.
