Curtailment
Law No. 346/2006 foresees additional compensation for wind farms in case of grid curtailment in the interconnected system. The amount of remuneration is equal to 30% of the energy cuts imposed during the previous calendar year (art. 13 par. 8 Law No. 3468/2006).
Nevertheless, curtailment compensation is defined in the Feed-In Tariff (“Operating support based on a fixed compensation price”) or the Feed-In Premium (“Operating support based on a differential compensation price”) contracts for the interconnected system.
