Support of RES-T infrastructure – charging for e-vehicles (for housing communities)

Summary

There is a state subsidy available for housing communities constructing charging stations for e-vehicles in their parking lots. In order to be eligible for the subsidy, the housing company/community has to construct at least 5 e-vehicle charging stations in their parking area.
The amount of subsidy is 35% of the total costs of the investment, or 50%, if at least half of the constructed charging stations have a charging capacity of min. 11 kW. The maximum amount of support is EUR 90.000. The subsidy can cover costs caused by planning, electric works, laying cables and pipes, and purchasing charging infrastructure.
Eligible addressee submits an application through an electronic form to ARA, who will decide on the recipients of the subsidy.
Eligible addressee has to apply and be granted the subsidy before beginning the construction works, otherwise the costs are not eligible for the subsidy. The subsidy will be paid once the construction works are complete. The subsidy not available for houses that are under construction.
A total of EUR 5.5 million is allocated for this subsidy in the state budget for 2021. Applications are screened on a rolling basis around the year.
